Psychology Today Website:

Find a psychiatrist or a therapist in your area and browse the magazine archives for information on a host of popular psychology topics.

Consulting Psychiatrist:

Dr. Robert Post in a renowned psychiatrist in the treatment of bipolar disorder. He offers one-time consultations to help diagnose and suggest treatments for difficult to diagnose disorders such as those on the bipolar spectrum. Dr. Post will take a detailed mood and medication history and suggest new medication approaches. He will provide a full write up of his recommendations which can be implemented by your local treating physician. Recommendations will include a progressive series of suggested treatments, including backup options in case the initial treatment options do not provide optimal results. Consults typically take about two hours. I highly recommend his services if you have the means. He does not accept insurance, but will provide a receipt for you to submit for reimbursement (though reimbursements vary greatly). You can book an appointment and find more information on his website.
